SAAB 9-3 CIM EEPROM Editor Software
If you have been turning away customers with a late model SAAB 9-3 who has lost/damaged their keys then this is for you.
You may be aware that if there are no registered keys to work with - you cannot program any further keys to the system. Until now this has meant replacement of the costly CIM unit and reprogramming using Tech 2 - resulting in a £650 to £950 bill for the customer.
Now, after reading the simple 8 leg SOIC EEPROM with your favourite reader you can load the file into this software. It will then program your own key into the system on the bench. Program the new file into the CIM and replace in the car. You can then start the car! This then allows you to program further keys with your key programming equipment. The software also calculates the security code needed !
