TOYOTA - FURTHER INFO
There are three types of immobiliser that are
fitted to Toyota that we can work on. This is
a separate immobiliser box beginning part
number 89780-xxxxx. This is generally fitted
to the older cars and vans, 4x4s up to around
2000. This can be found in black, yellow or grey.
The later vehicles, including VVTi engines are
equipped with an immobiliser which is integral
to the main ECU for the vehicle. These part
numbers begin 89661-xxxxx
The Avensis and Corrolla from around 1998
are equipped with an immobiliser which looks
like this. This fits around the ignition barrel.
These begin with part number 89780-xxxxx.
IN ALL THESE CASES WE CAN EITHER VISIT YOUR VEHICLE ANYWHERE IN THE NORTH WEST AND PROGRAM THE KEYS IN OR WE CAN COMPLETE THIS BY RETURN OF POST. OBTAIN YOUR KEY NUMBER FROM TOYOTA. WE CAN CUT THE KEYS AND PROGRAM THEM IN HERE. REFIT AND AWAY YOU GO!!
